Hi Everyone! So we have decided to change our stay from Pop Century to Contemporary Garden View. We have a 2 year old and find that it will be easier to stay there since most of the time we will be Magic Kingdom. I have only ever stayed in the Theme Park view back in 2007 I believe at the Contemporary, can any one recommend a good section to try and request and any tips that would be helpful?

Thanks in advance to all!

I LOVE the Garden Wing! It tends to be so much more quiet than the tower and it's so easy to simply walk through the CR lobby and onto the path to MK as opposed to having to deal with the elevators in the tower (which tend to really back up). We prefer views of the lake in the garden wing as opposed to views of the pool (I think the lake views are nicer and the rooms are quieter). I would decide if you prefer to be on the first floor (which would have a patio) or a higher floor (which wouldn't have a balcony). We prefer the 3rd floor (highest floor) as I never like to hear our neighbors above us. If you would prefer a high floor, I would request "3rd floor, lake view". If you prefer a patio, I would request "1st floor, lake view".

I love the CR garden wing as well. The easy walking access to the MK with a little one in a stroller is wonderful! I think that you will be very happy with your choice. The tower is a very short covered walk away and has lots of shopping and dining options. Also you have the boats to WL and FW out back plus the monorail to the Poly, GF, TTC (transfer to Epcot monorail) and MK.

I would decide if you want a patio and ground floor vs upper floor (no balcony but sliding patio doors open to a rail) as well. Then request that choice. You may like the pool oriented rooms if you get ground floor and want quick access to that area. The lake view rooms have lovely views over the water.

We like to request ground floor near the tower.

Enjoy the CR!!!!
