Contemporary for NYE?

We will be arriving on 12/31 and are considering a stay at CR. If we don't go to the parks, what can we do there or at GF or Poly?

If you don't have reservations yet, you may find yourself out of luck. We have been to WDW during NYE week for tha past 2 years and NYE is sold out at the resorts(many native FLA come for the night). That said, you could go to Boardwalk for non-park NYE actvities, but many of the sitdown restaurants have been booked since the 90 days mark(if you try for PS they will take CC# because it is considered a holiday). You can see the fireworks at MK from the beach at the poly and the fireworks at Epcot from Boardwalk area(MGM fireworks from the Swan). Just some thoughts.
