What is going on right now at Contemporary hotel right now....how is the quick dining ...we would love to stay her for out December 2008 stay but are concerned about the food court and construction...any information would be helpful in planning........

They are in the process of building a DVC (Rumor) with the tower to the left of the CR. They have closed the steakhouse and open a new restaurant called the Wave.

Besides the construction happening outside they just started the process of turning the Concourse Steakhouse into Chef Mickey's Express, which is to be the new counter service location. It's been posted that they want it to open on August 14, 2008 so if that's true once it's completed that means no more construction happening inside the Tower on the 4th floor.

if you want a CR standard wing room - go get it NOW!

rumor has the South wing coming down in a few years, too - to be replaced by either suites for CR conventions or more DVC villas.
