Contemporary concierge rooms - standard/deluxe?

On the AAA website there was a quote for a concierge room "deluxe" on 12th floor, MK or bay view. When I called CRO, they found the same rate but it was listed as a "standard concierge room" instead. CM said that she thought it was the same thing, and that Disney called all "regular" rooms (i.e., not suites) at the Contemporary standard rooms.

Are these the same thing? It is definitely not a suite, but since there are five in our party I want to be sure we are getting as big a room as possible. Are these the same rooms?

The 12th floor are standard rooms, so that means they are the same ones on the none Club Level floors in the Tower and South Garden Wing. Plus you don't get to reserve a Magic Kingom or Bay Lake View, so if you really want the Magic Kingdom view it has to be requested.

I am perfectly happy with the standard rooms. I was a little worried that the tower rooms might be smaller unless they were the "deluxe" ones.

And I am probably in the minority that I don't have a strong feeling between MK and bay view. We can see fireworks, etc. from the lounge and I like the prospect of seeing the electrical parade and the bay lake view in general. While views of the MK are very cool, we're fortunate enough to have been there, done that a couple of times but don't have the experience of bay view from that vantage point.

Thanks.

You're welcome and you are right that you can see the Magic Kingdom from the Atrium Club lounge, so it's not that bad if you or anyone else gets a Bay Lake view. Also another thing to keep in mind the standard rooms at the Contemporary are the biggest ones on property, out of all the other WDW Resorts.
