Hi - Has anyone got any photos of the food served at Contempo Cafe please??

I am thinking of adding the dining plan when we are at BLT, and would probably use the counter service tokens here for breakfast or dinner. I am particularly keen to know what the french toast is like (I am a fan of the crystal palace french toast!!) and also is the salted caramel on the waffles sweet or savoury?? (i've never heard of 'salted' caramel!!)

Plus are the flatbreads like pizzas? and how good are the pastas and burgers??

In fact - is Contempo Cafe a good place for counter service meals full stop!!

I would be happy just to find a copy of the menu....I am hoping that they carry items counted as snacks on the DxDP for breakfast as we often just grab something quick for the villa (we are also staying at BLT!) and save the TS credit towards a signature dining meal.

I've been to Disney twice this year and both times I used the Contempo Cafe as our CS credit during our MK days. I don't have any pictures but the food was some of the best CS I have had at Disney. There was a pretty good variety and even my picky mother was able to find food she not only wanted but enjoyed.

Salted caramel seems to be all the "rage" in artisan confections... the idea is that you use a special salt to enhance the flavor of the caramel (sweet, not savory) -- I have had salted caramels (candy), and they were quite yummy -- I imagine the waffles would be great, although I wonder if the strong taste of bananas might overpower...

When my family and I stayed at the Contemporary in December 2008 we would go there a few times and I would say it's a very good counter service location. My personal favorite items on the menu is the Chicken Ceaser Salad and I can honestly say it's the best one I ever had, plus it's made fresh each time you order it. I also enjoyed the 6 oz. Angus Cheeseburger, Pepperoni Flatbread Pizza and on Saturday's their soup of the day is Chicken Corn Chowder which is very good. Finally here is a link to their menu and when you read please note they don't list the prices, however they are listed on their touch screen ordering machines.

I was planning on buying food to take back to our BLT room to eat on the balcony, but after seeing those photos, I think my boys would love sitting at the cafe and watching the monorail go passed our heads!!
