We plan on having breakfast at the Contempo Cafe on our next trip at the BLT. My boys tend to like cold cereal or a bagel for breakfast. How can I make a QS meal with those options? Can I get cold cereal, yogurt and a drink as a meal? Or a bagel, fruit and a drink?

TIA!! :thumbsup2

Anyone?

Maybe someone has done something similar at another QS location?

I can't remember exactly if cereal and milk is considered an Entree or not. Possibly you could combine the cereal and bagel to be one entree with the milk as drink. Generally at Contempo breakfast, you would get one entree and two drinks. The entree plates were good: waffles, and combo plates with lots of food, breakfast sandwiches. I know both the cereal and the bagel can be used as 'snacks.' I would probably not use a QS credit for just cereal and milk or just a bagel. I would:

Get them with snack credits
pay for them OOP
or split a couple entrees between the whole group and get milk as the extra drink with each and buy or bring the cereal.

I don't mind using a whole TS credit even for a QS meal, but just for the cereal is a real shame... Possibly you could get two cereals and two milks as one credit and that would make me feel better;)

I'm certainly going to partake in the waffles myself! These options are for my kids. So if I tell myself it's a "child" credit, I won't feel so bad. :goodvibes The snack option is a good way to go since we are going deluxe and will have 2 snacks a day. I figure my SIL can use any extra QS credits we don't use since her twins are under 3 and she'd have to pay OOP for their QS meals.

Thanks! :thumbsup2

Your kids will be able to get the kids options unless you use one kids credit for a waffle for yourself. Then you'll have one adult option and one kids option for your two kids.

We're just back from BLT and I don't remember them having waffles. They have great french toast! The platters all came with French Toast rather than waffles, and there was a french toast plate. For the life of me I don't remember seeing a waffle option.

I'll be there in a couple weeks..... but based on what I know..
Recall that currently, CS breakfasts now only come with 1 beverage.

It has also been widely reported that people can exchange a CS credit for 3 "snacks" -- Which may allow you to build your cereal/yogurt/drink breakfast. Though I have also seen recent reports that cereal+milk no longer count as 1 credit.

We ate and at the Contemp Cafe for breakfast every morning on our trip last summer. We paid OOP for breakfast, but I had a bagel with cream cheese several mornings - I am pretty sure it could be a snack. If you are Delux plan, you probably will have more credits that you will know what to do with, so if they let you pair the bagel with a milk and juice, it might be a good use of a child's credit

My DD13 had waffles there in Nov and they were great! They had bananas and a caramel sauce. :lovestruc
