Hello everyone,
My mother and I are visiting the Contemporary in January and are planning to be on the DxDP - we have stayed at this resort in the past but we have never tried Contempo Cafe for breakfast - Is a counter service breakfast worth it in your opinions? What are your experiences the good and the bad?
We are not big breakfast eaters we usually just pick up a piece of fruit or a baked good, the one exception is our "must" stop at Kona Cafe to have Tonga Toast at least once on our vacation!
As always thank-you!

I've seen the egg sandwiches and such but haven't tried them. It's typical breakfast stuff, nothing remarkably outstanding but fine. When we've stayed there, we'll usually have a breakfast once (usually because it's a "take it easy" day and we have extra credits) but I wouldn't go out of my way from another resort to go eat breakfast there either.
) Here is a quick secret, though... you can get Tonga toast at Captain Cook's (the Polynesian's CS- the equivalent to Contempo) and it is quicker and will not cost you the money or points of a sit down restaurant. We usually stop in and grab a casual breakfast a few times during the trip.... it's by far the best quick service hotel food. They have pretty interesting lunch and dinner options, too.
