For anyone who owns points at their home resort and has small add on at another--how do you like it???? Comtemplating buying a small contract for just a few 5 night stays here and there.....any thoughts????

What is the current dues pp at OKW????

Can't help much since I don't own (yet) but someone on this board was very kind and sent me a TON of info so I can give you the dues for OKW if nothing else, LOL. It's at $4.24 per point. Hope that helps!

A small add on just didn't do it for us. We began with 50 VWL points, then added another 50, then added 25 and finally in December we added another. Now we have 150 VWL points, 250 BWV and 150 VB.

I don't know about your circumstances, but we are empty nesters who enjoy inviting people to our DVC home as much as we do to our Cape May home, and that's the "problem."

Best wishes. I like being able to book either on site resort at 11 months.

actually, I'm in the same boat as you...we have 200 points at SSR but I am debating getting 50 points at WLV just for me....girls weekend here and there...I love SSR but have a yearning for WL . maybe it's the majestic fireplace, the soaring totems, the rustic yet open woodsey feeling....something just draws me there but I haven't plunked my $$ down yet....

I own 80 points at OKW which has worked out fine for me (my brother owns tons of BW points so occasionally I do "borrow/rent" a few of his points to stretch a vacation). I have managed lots of trips with my small contract and really have never thought I needed more points. OKW is my favorite DVC resort at least in part because it generally requires the fewest points for a stay! Plus I love the relative quiet of the property.

We've definately been thinking about it and will continue to do so for a little while, but I think I am leaning towards getting the extra points, we can always use them

I'm still not sure if I'm really going to like staying anywhere other than our home resort, I am really happy with it (BCV) and am debating now about where to get the points....decisions, decisions-- I like being able to walk to Epcot and to take the boat to MGM and I know I'd also like being so close to DTD, with OKW--I'm still thinking.......and now with the poster who was talking about WL.....that got me thinking--I'd love being that close to MK.....
