Contacting WWOS Regarding WDW 1/2 Marathon

Hi guys! Since you all know just about anything, I figured you may be able to help me out with this one.

A month or so ago, my Mom got an email from Disney saying that even though the WDW half marathon was officially closed, she could still register since she participated last year and they opened up some spots. (she did not register this year)

WELL, my Mom finially decided she should register (has not been exercising and needs motivation). Now, she cannot find that email!

Any ideas on how to get a hold of someone at WWOS or with the Disney Marathon that can help sign her up?

I talked to someone at DL who finagled an application from a CM during the Expo to get her friend to run. So, there are a few openings left...

Back on June 12 they sent out an email saying they had opened limited spaces for the DL Half but those sold out in hours.

The last email I have for the WDW2007 weekend was sent on August 10th and the only spaces were thru charities here is a snippet of that email...

"Congratulations to everyone who registered for the WALT DISNEY WORLD® Half Marathon. The Half Marathon has reached its registration capacity and is now closed. Select groups and charities still have Half Marathon spots available. If your friends or family still want to run the Half Marathon, they should visit the Groups and Charities page on www.disneyworldmarathon.com."

I could have deleted one or never gotten one if it bounced so perhaps someone else has something more. Wish I had more for ya but if I see anything or remember anything I'll be sure to let you know so we can have another WISHER along for the ride

What about he 5K they are doing? It's a new course Are you two going to do the Minnie Marathon Weekend?

UGH! Work calls again, off to the current race... the race against the clock and rush hour LOL

I know I had a number last year to get the DVC app, but I can't find it. Above is the contact us form to contact them through teh marathon website. Worth a try.

My friend forgot to put down her 'proof' of finish time on your registration form. How could she get that added? Should she just submit it through this link?

Mom definately got an email only a month ago asking her to sign up again this year. So, maybe there is a shot at this afterall. Especially since the CM gave a woman in the mnerchandise line ahead of me at DL an app. for her friend. Worth a try, huh?
