Contacting CMs.

Hi All,

I dont know if this question has ever been asked so here goes. Is there a way to contact CMs that you met while on vacation. My son and I had 2 wonderfull tours while on our recent trip. The CMs involved were so great and I would love to hear how they are doing and send them a personal thank you for all they did. I have already sent an email praising them to the guest communications email and I included my email address so they could write back. However I never got any response so I hope they email got to the respective CMs. Is it possible they are not allowed to contact us back?

Any thoughts?

WDW is a fairly large organization, it takes a while for letters to get routed to the correct people, but eventually, the people you praised should get a copy of your email, most likely with your personal information removed, for privacy reasons.

The one thing I would point out is that some Cast Members frequent the DIS, and might (very big might, but still...) be able to pass on a message. Just a thought.

Thanks for the replys everyone. I did include my email address in the email I sent and asked them to pass it along to the CMs. Is it likely they will still remove it?

We've written before and I always include a picture of my kids with the CM to hopefully help get it to the right person!

Way back in 1997 during our first family trip we met a wonderful CM at Ohana's. She was really nice and loved our DS so much we had to take some pictures with them together. She signed his autograph book and included her name and address (at WDW I believe) as we asked her to. After we got the pictures developed we sent one to her. She wrote back a wonderful note and we have it in our photo album of that trip. If you are very specific with a CM name and location within WDW they should receive it....email or regular mail.
ps......When you e-mail a note to WDW about a CM your comments DO go into their records.

Maybe if they have received it they just feel a little uncomfortable about emailing/writing back.

However wonderful the CM's are when working I'm sure many of them consider it 'just a job' a maybe like to seperate their 'non-working life' from it as much as possible?
