Contact Number?

Hi,

staying at NPB, Admiral's floor, in March 2007 and I have had no luck contacting DLP about our "special needs". They are not really special at all --- just must have a non-smoking room and also a baby crib -- but still something I would like to work out before we get there. Would also like to make some dining reservations, although can't imagine we'd need them in March.

When I booked online, I booked under the ".co.uk" site because it was in English, but my mailing address is in Germany, so I don't have all that much home of actually getting any documents from DLP. I do have my confirmation email, which is good.

Does anyone have a contact number, that someone will answer, for DLP to help with these issues? I've called the booking number several times, but after a 15 minute wait (expensive), nobody picks up.

Any help much appreciated, thanks!

Have a look at the Useful Info thread under booking here. You could always fax them rather than phoning.

If you requested non-smoking and baby crib on your booking then hopefully this will be recorded. You should get a letter of confirmation of your booking to the address provided

Hello. We just retruned from the NPB and stayed at the Admirla's floor. I had also requested a non smoking room. On the elevator, it shows that all the rooms on Admiral's Floor ( 8th floor) are non smoking. I also saw cribs everywhere..
Don't you have a local number in Germany where you can call and ask about your requests ? It's a local number but it I believe it's transferred to France.

Contact the Newport Bay Club direct, I did with some requests (Balloons for my son's birthday) and they were extremely helpful.
These are the numbers:

For dining reservations the number from germany is
0180 58189
I've taken that number from DLRP food guide.
It's not the number I called on, but the numbers are country specific. I made reservations by phone before our trip last March, at Cafe Mickey and the Lucky Nugget, the queues for those without reservations were extraordinary.
At Auberge de Cendrillon and Blue Lagoon, I think we would've been able to eat without a reservation, they weren't very busy.
Bare in mind that you can cancel or change your reservation when you get to the resort anyway.
I needed to change our day for the Auberge and Consierge did it for me.

Martinacris is right all the rooms on the Admiral's floor are non smoking, it surprised me last time, but do ring to confirm this if you're concerned. I don't think you need worry abour the crib and if you've any problems whatsoever the Consierge service is fantastic in my experience.

That is great news that the entire floor is non-smoking, will ease my mind quite a bit. I will call them to make sure on the crib, though, I don't want them to run out of them. Which I know is silly, like they wouldn't have enough cribs, but still, don't want the baby sleeping on the floor.

Also, thank you for the Germany access numbers. I could only find a number in the UK off the website and I was spending lots of time on hold.

I was sort of hoping you all would say "Oh, March, there is nobody there, you won't need any reservations for dining at all" but it has to be less crowded than the first weekend in September.
