Today I discovered Mickey Mouse shaped filled pasta in the fresh pasta section at Tescos, we now have 4 packets at the promotional price.

Do you think it will taste better than normal filled pasta?

We are certainly excited to test it out. The kids especially so. Oh all right I am too.

Yes I fell into this trap and bought Toy Story strawberry mousse from Tesco and Bananas with Mickey and pals on the bag - pretty cheap at their promo prices. Shelby is convinced that the mousse it better just because it has Hamm and Rex on the pot!

i brought the mickey shaped pasta, the boys loved it, but dd hated it, despite being the biggest disney fan, go figure!
we did it with creme fraiche and bacon like a carbonara, yum!

i bought 2 packs of mickey dried pasta a couple of years back from france because i thought it was cool, it took me about a year and a half to get round to cooking it.......

shows quite how much branding will make you buy something eh??!

Months ago, we bought Mickey shaped burgers at Tesco, but haven't seen them since. DD7 loved them and even my parents said they were really tasty!

Consensus is in, the kids liked the pasta. Although Cullen was most disappointed that the packet had Mickey roller blading on it and not surfing, that pack must be in the freezer. Who knew I had to have the packet right as well.

They tasted like normal filled pasta so that is good.

Might make it into the shopping cart again.
