I went to the grocery store and went to get dish soap. I always buy the same brand but the one I usually purchase has changed. Now they are giving you less liquid in the bottle. They think they can justify it by printing on the bottle "more suds with less liquid needed".

I am tired of companies relabeling their products "ultra" so they can sell less of the product but charge the same price or even more.

I just sent the company an e-mail and let them know I will be changing brands.

I'm sure the company cares but I feel better now!

This is something where we always get the store brand. Some store brand items aren't as good as the brand names, but dish soap is just a bunch of chemicals. Why pay more because the brand name has to pay for its advertising?

I'm not sure what the complaint is. You do need less of the "ultra" brands. So you wash the same amount of dishes with less product.

Everything is being downsized. I quit buying many ice cream brands because they cut down to 1.5 quarts. Cereals have cut back on the amount, and now I saw somewhere were 24-packs of Pepsi only have 20 cans in it. Do they think we're stupid and won't notice? The price doesn't change.

Last time at the store, I picked up some OJ. It was less. My usual brand is still the same size. I won't be buying that brand again.

I see that with laundry detergent, but with dish soap, I'm with the OP. One squeeze is one squeeze. It's hard to use less than a squeeze so we end up using the same amount anyway - especially when my kids do the dishes!
