Construction work on I Drive.

The pictures I have been provided of the Rosen Center (which is where we are staying this year) have considerable construction work going on opposite.

I gather these pictures were taken around 2001, so is this work finished now ? I would guess in 2 years time quite a lot has happened to this area.

Has anybody been past recently ? What's the current situation.

I just returned Feb 16th and we drove the whole length of I Drive. The only construction that I remember was in front of the Convention Center. Is that near your resort? It was not bad, they had signs up and there seemed to be alittle confusion about the parking for the convention center, was all I noticed. We drove this route on a Monday, around 10:00 and traffic was not bad at all.

Yes, the hotel is almost opposite the new Convention Center, and the major construction there. However, it is more than 100 yards away across a divided highway, and the construction was not affecting the traffic flow the last time I was there.

We stayed on I Drive in January and went back and forth to SeaWorld. The construction was not a problem at all. Looks like they're building a massive Convention area!
