Construction site?

Getting ready for a long haul from Madison, WI to Panama City Beach, FL. Is there a site to check areas of construction from one destination to another?

Maybe check the Department of Transportation websites for each state you will drive through? I know that Virginia has a website that shoes statewide road condtions (constructions, accidents, weather, etc). I'm sure other states would as well. Safe travels!

You can find states that are actively using 511 traveler information here:
http://www.fhwa.dot.gov/trafficinfo/511.htm

Also do a search for each state's Dept of Transportation to get their system if it's not a "511" system.


I have been looking at all the states in my route (IN, KY, TN, GA, FL) for our upcoming trip, and they all seem to have state sites or 511 sites that have some interactive maps of construction, traffic cameras, accident/incidents, etc through the major arteries.
