Construction at Waldorf Bonnet Creek?

I have a five night stay planned at the Waldorf for the end of February. However, I have read a few recent reviews on TA about lots of construction noise and cranes on property. Has anyone stayed here recently (or visited for dinner, etc.) who can confirm how much the construction impacted your trip? My other idea is to switch to JW Marriott Bonnet Creek. Unfortunately, all Disney villas are booked for our dates

I recently stayed at Hilton Bonnet Creek and the construction was pretty bad. The hotels are connected so it would be the same construction I think. It ruined my pool day because of the loud banging. I did get my entire resort fee ($225) waived though after complaining about it.

Thanks for the intel. I scored some pixie dust and was able to book SSR for the trip! Your description of the noise makes me even more excited that I was able to change resorts. Thanks!
