construction at BOTH Pop and AoA??

I just called and was going to make a reservation for AoA in January. The CM read me the disclaimer about construction. When I said I thought only Pop had construction, he said the construction is actually between the two resorts on hourglass lake. And now I read that there are refurbs going on at Pop. Where would be the best locations to avoid as much noise as possible from these activities? I don't plan to spend a lot of time at the parks so would like as much quiet as possible during the day. I don't care about a parking lot view if that is what it takes and I don't need to be near the main pools. It does sound like the refurb. rooms at Pop are nice. Since it is only me, the extra floor space when the murphy bed is up would be great, extra room for the ecv. Is the bedding also new? I want to stay at a resort that either does not share a bus or I can walk to some of the parks. I thought about going back to CSR but there is construction there also.

A standard room at Pop or a Little Mermaid room at AoA would both be away from the Room Refurb at Pop and the Gondola construction.

Yes. Brand new queen sized mattresses.

I want to stay at a resort that either does not share a bus or I can walk to some of the parks. I thought about going back to CSR but there is construction there also.

If you want to walk to some of the parks then your options are Yacht Club, Beach Club, Boardwalk Inn, Contemporary, Swan (non-disney owned) or Dolphin (non-disney owned).

The resorts that share buses are most deluxes, Swan and Dolphin, All Stars (some times), Port Orleans Riverside and French Quarter (some times).
