This happens to me all the time.

Me too!

Nothing to do with "remembering me" at this end, just being timed out by the servers.
That along with post's being correlated in the wrong order again!

New Servers!!!!! Aghhhh!

Ex Techie :)

So it's not just me?
Got timed out about every five or ten minutes lately, if I was not actively moving through threads. So, tech mods, is there a way to insure that I don't get logged out automatically during a session?

Ug, I am getting logged out in the time it takes to read just a couple of threads. :scared1:

Sounds like a cookie issue. You might also check to make sure your Computer clock is set to the right time.

I am unable to login or keep getting a "Your session has expired. Please Log in again." error whenever I try to read a message.

The permission error that you are getting is not related to your account. It strictly deals with the way the computer you are using handles cookies. If the computer you are using has cookies disabled (turned off), then you will not be able to use the site.
The easiest way to fix this problem is to clear your cache and delete the cookie file(s) on your computer. Finally, if your browser doesn't support cookies, you have them turned off or you refuse the cookie, you will also get that error message.

Here are some things that may be causing your machine to not retaining cookies, login or registration information:

1. You have cookies disabled or turned off.
2. You are manually deleting your cookie files.
3. You are cleaning out your "temporary Internet files" which is deleting your cookies.
4. You are visiting from a different machine than the one you registered on.
5. Your machine may be behind a firewall or proxy server that prevents cookie transmission. This is most likely in a corporate environment. So, regardless of how your browser is set, cookies won't be sent or received by your browser. Since the cookies aren't making it through to your browser, the Web Site will assume you personally aren't accepting them
6. You are running a program (software) which automatically deletes cookie files (guarddog, anti-virus programs, etc.).
7. You are running a program (software) that interferes with cookie usage. There are many filtering and blocking software programs that also filter cookies. If you are running software like this, then your computer may not receive or send cookies.
8. Your Internet Security level is set to HIGH.

NOTE: If you use the Internet in a network environment, please contact your Help Desk, Network Administrator, or IT department. They should be able to clear cache and cookies from your company's servers and/or firewalls to remedy this problem.

Thanks k5jmh for the information.

I am curious if this site would be set up differently than other Vbulletin forums? It seems to be the only one I have problems with.
