I’m DVC, have D+ and Hulu (they’re bundled now, that was a mess in itself). Almost anytime I access any of these services I am forced into a new password. It’s untenable. I can’t keep doing this every few days.
I have had to change my password at least 5 times in the past 2 weeks. First my D+, then my MDE one, then the D+ again - repeat... And it wouldn't let me use the same password for both accounts.
Annoyed is far too mild a word for this.
Sorry you’re having trouble, but I’m glad it’s not just me. I’ve had to do this repeatedly as well. It will not recognize my password, so I have to go through the whole “forgot password” stuff to reset It.
It wanted me to change my hulu password, which is the same password, so i literally entered the same password as a new password and that seemed to make it happy?

Don't have any Disney pay services, but do have a MDE account from our last visit a couple of years ago. Was curious and just logged onto MDE and the existing password worked fine. Have no reason to use MDE unless planning a Disney trip. Has been at least 2 yrs since the last time I used MDE. Is there anything you see in your setup menus that perhaps is causing constant password resets?

Have you tried just not changing it?
Use the same password.
That's worked for me
They don't seem to have a no reusing of password requirement
I wasn't sure so I tried and sure enough, it let me so every time it asks me now I just repeat mine.
Since I use a random password generator that gives a complex password I really don't like to have to put that new one in everywhere!

That did work 2 times but not last time. last time I had to reset it for D+ then reset it again 2 hours later for Hulu, I was pretty irritated.
Look I use D+ on two TVs, Hulu on 2 and both on my iPhone and iPad… nothing too crazy consuming I have the $20 bundle. One tv is at my beach house so a different provider…VZ at home, AT&T mobility for 5G iPhones and xfinity at the beach house…but this can’t be that uncommon. I’m not using it in 30 spots and never more than 1 screen!
@DSLRuser It definitely seems to be a crackdown on password sharing but what trips it seems to be random. I haven’t even used my D+ or Hulu account at my second home in weeks (aka 5 password resets ago!).
It’s very annoying and i might just cancel the bundle altogether and use my Amex credit elsewhere. I’m glad some people aren’t having issues but it does seem some of us are. Either tell us what’s tripping it OR ask those they think are sharing accounts for more money. Something besides a new password 2-4 times a month logging into Hulu or D+.
I had that issue last year. I finally gave up and called them. The nice tech guy was able to fix the situation - something was going on with my username
Same here. This password reset stuff is maddening.
This is on top of them never figuring out how to upgrade/downgrade Hulu without creating a new account. And then once you've created that new account, if you don't change over all your Disney stuff to the new email address, the problem only gets worse.
I have the bundle (Hlu/D+/ESPN), use on multiple devices in multiple locations and have only had to change the password once (when I linked it to my MDE account to get the D+ room discount)
