I know it is probably a good thing to remove items that aren't selling well, but as soon as I find a new place to try, they change up the menu - LOL! In particular, Disney Springs. It is always a gamble to count on a certain snack/entree to be available at all the different kiosks, but it is a bummer nonetheless!

I just read the What's New Around the Parks on DFB, and all the places I planned on try have changed a bit. Some places, like Contempo Cafe, still offer plenty of basics, so it doesn't matter (and some of those new items looks great, and will probably be gone come January!!), but now I can't eat luch at AristoCrepes like I thought.

Oh well!

I use online menus, months in advance, as a guide to that restaurants offerings. It helps me narrow down my choices, but I never pick out one item I must have months in advance.
I understand your frustration though

I think things are especially in flux at Disney Springs. Many of the places are new(ish), so they're still trying to figure out what works best, what is popular, what is not, etc. Still, it can be disappointing if you saw something that looked good and now it's gone. There is always a chance it'll come back or show up somewhere else (if it's one of the Disney-owned places). Hopefully, whatever they introduce in their place sounds equally appealing.

I also use menus online as a guide but I do also have written down (in MS Word) what meal I'm most likely going to get. It's not that I'm 100% for sure going to get it it's more or less to 1) track pricing 2) help me select one place or another when there are similar places.

I've updated my listing when Disney has removed or altered an item on the menu just to keep me in the loop.

That being said I'm not attached to getting only that menu item. I do understand the OP's frustration though as well.

I haven't delved much into the options at Disney Springs (other than watching the DIS vlogs) though.

We deal with dietary issues and on occasions there will be only 1 item on a menu that is safe. To find out when you show up that they no longer have that item even in the kitchen it is more than frustrating :headache:

Edited to add: a prime example is the current change to LTT menu that had no heads up from one day to the next...

I find it hard when trying to cover a group of picky eaters. But it really won't detract from the fun of trying new places. I just need to be flexible, and let go a bit - LOL - control freak that I am!
