I have 3 separate reservations at the Poly for 4 consecutive nights (1 night, 1 night, 2 nights)- I secured the first night and the last 2 nights through a third party points rental site. The middle reservation I made directly through Disney reservations. I called to see if I could consolidate these into a single 4 night reservation (they are all the same room category). They said they couldn't do that because I'm not a DVC member and only the owner could authorize that (and also something about it being points/cash/points). Can I assume that once I check in they may be able to place me in the same room for 4 nights or is that wishful thinking???

If all the rentals are with the same owner, then can submit an email, chat or call MS to have them merged into one reservation.

If they are with different owners, then you want to ask the rental company you used to ask each owner to have noted (same way...email, chat/call) "continuous reservation" with the other reservation numbers. This way, they will try to put you in the same room.

When you get to the resort, check at the front desk and see if they did because if they did not, that is the time they may be able to fix it for you.

I have three memberships and do this all the time, and so far, have always been slated in the same room...it is much easier for them to do this then make you leave and come back to a different room!

I have had the same experience as PP. I travel with extended family from time to time and we each take a day or two of the reservation. While they can't merge the reservation, they do put a note on it. When we check in, we just make sure that the front desk is aware of the situation. We have never had to change rooms.
