A new share thread;)

I was just wondering if anyone has received their consolidated shares yet as I haven't heard anything. I decided to purchase the extra shares to round up to 10 new shares but I haven't heard how much they will be & no money has been taken from my bank:confused3

I didn't need to buy/sell any shares as I had a round number. I received one certificate before Christmas but am still awaiting another one for the extra shares I purchased last time they upped the criteria for free membership for the Shareholders Club. I gather you deal with CACEIS? I think they are probably snowed under with work at the moment. I emailed them several times querying the missing certificate but although my emails were "read", I didn't receive a reply until I sent a proper letter by recorded delivery. I'm still awaiting the second certificate but they had the correct number of shares on the AGM voting papers so I'm not too worried.

Have you received a certificate for the consolidated shares less the odd number yet?

I have received nothing. On my AGM papers it had the old shares total. I emailed them a while back as they keep spelling my 1st name wrong asking to change it but that hasn't been done either.

I might contact them again. I appreciate they will be snowed under but i'm worried they never received the paper work.

Yes, I'd contact them again if I were you, perhaps it might be better to write them a letter rather than emailing them. :confused3

I emailed them on the off chance they might reply, they did & it turns out they have never received the documents:headache: Don't you just love the post service.

I have asked them to send the forms again for me to fill in. I wished I emailed it in the first place, that way I would still have the originals.

After not hearing from them since I emailed my completed forms at the beginning of March, I emailed them again to find out the cost so I could arrange the transfer.

I received a reply this morning informing me that they have waivered any costs for the extra 21 old shares needed to round my total up to a round figure. So they have completed the consolidation.

After all the difficulties I have had I am grateful as it would have cost me more in the fee for the transfer then the actual shares do.

Thank you Caceis:thumbsup2

I have finally resolved all my share problems, just waiting for my new membership card but I have a temporary cover note in the mean time:goodvibes

I was also worried about my consolidated shares - I had 1440 old shares and send off the forms back end of last year to buy enough to bring me up to a round 2000, which should have converted to 20 new shares.

But I didn't hear anything back and feared my letter had got lost in the post - until yesterday, when I finally received a note from Caceis that my purchase has gone through and now they want me to pay the balance by bank transfer in Euros.

That's no problem I thought, but all they've provided me with on the letter is their IBAN number. My bank has said I need a SWIFT or BIC code as well in order for them to send the money. I've tried to get through to Caceis by phone, but I'm guessing it's a bank holiday in France as well as I can't get anyone to answer.

Does anyone who has already purchased shares by this route know what these codes/numbers might be?

Can't help you with the SWIFT code but they answered my email today which I was surprised about.

Do you mind me asking how much have the extra shares cost you? as I haven't got the 20, I only rounded up to 10 new shares.

That's great news Nikki. :goodvibes

Steve, when I purchased some extra shares from CACEIS a couple of years ago they also gave me the option of paying by cheque, so I ordered a cheque in euros from my bank and posted it recorded delivery to them. I can't remember how much this was but I know it was cheaper than bank transfer.

560 extra shares cost me 44.80 Euros.

Thats good to know, I may purchase some more to get my total nearer 20, although the annoying thing would be is that I have just paid to renew my membership for another 2 years.

Thanks:goodvibes
