Consignment Sale finds

A local charity group had their annual fall sale yesterday. I consigned and volunteered, so I get 70% of my prices and I get to shop the pre-sale. I picked up a Thomas costume for $5, a Stitch NWT from the Disney store for $5!!, A FP garage in great condition w/accessories for $5 (for Grandma's house), a Tonka truck, great shape for $1, Children's Place sweater for DS, $2 and OshKosh pants, no tags, but looked brand new for $2. Also picked up a bunch of books for both DS and DD including Charlie and the Chocolate Factory and The Chronicles of Narnia and a paperback set of 5 Little House on the Prarie books -- all brand new for $3. Spent less than $25 and got a ton of stuff in great condition.

I should also net close to $200 from the stuff I sold.

This one is in Loudoun County. They've held the sale in Sterling, Leesburg and this year it was in Ashburn. It is organized by Catholic Consignments.

along with Dani's Duds which is held in the Dulles Expo Center in Chantilly.

I know a few MOPS groups had their sale on the 8th of Oct.

LOVE consignment sales! This is how my children are primarily clothed. I just made $66 for the few items I consigned a couple of weeks ago. Not bad!
