ROFR is up to 30 days not usually before 10, but definitely no where near 97. Are you sure Disney has it?
I'm sorry. . . I meant that we had signed contracts 97 days ago and are still NOT in the ROFR process with DVC. So, yes, I am sure Disney does not have it. It hasn't been sent to them yet. So. Stinking. Frustrated.
They had 100% positive feed back which I thought was a little fishy. They could easily pad their response feed back and probably have.
I hope no money has yet been exchanged. If it makes you feel better, my brother went through one of the legit ressie brokers lots of ppl have used
there are others out there where it's taken a full calendar year even with a listed legit broker!
I put a deposit down of $10,000 on my credit card. I have contacted them and asked "what if the transaction doesn't materialize?" But the company assures me that I will be in ROFR by this coming Monday at the latest. We'll see!
Wow, that's crazy that it could take up to a year!
My negative feedback for them was removed when they contacted ebay and stated that *I* refused to follow through on the sale (in fact, they refused to sell to me when I asked hard questions like a legal description of the timeshare, and who would be holding escrow, and called me "rude" for asking for this information!). I called ebay and had them look at the exchange of emails through ebay's system, and ebay stated that I would not be ding'ed as a non-paying bidder. But, because the auction was cancelled, my feedback would not appear or be counted.
That's one of the real flaws with eBay feedback. If the seller comes up with some story, the negative feedback goes away. A few years ago, I made a purchase on eBay and when the item arrived it was not even remotely like what they had advertised. It was a joke. I complained to the seller, and they canceled the transaction. But when I went to leave negative feedback due to the fraud they were perpetrating, I was not allowed to do so because the transaction was never completed. My negative feedback for them was removed when they contacted ebay and stated that *I* refused to follow through on the sale (in fact, they refused to sell to me when I asked hard questions like a legal description of the timeshare, and who would be holding escrow, and called me "rude" for asking for this information!). Agreed. Didn't realize sellers could do that!Wow! That is incredibly frustrating! They clearly have learned how to work the system, I can't believe eBay lets them get away with that nonsense.
