Hey we are going to be booking our first cruise. 4 Nights....wahoo :cool1:

Anyways, What is the quickest and cheapest way to get from Disney to the Port???

Actually where is the Port????

We will be at disney before and after the cruise so thought about just renting a car and leaving it there. Do they have a safe pound to keep the car in???

ummmm. I am sure I will have a ton more questionss.....

Oh wait 1 more. Cat 11 rooms where are they??? Are they that bad????

Thanks for all your help

The cheapiest would be to rental a car and then turn it in at the port. I think you can get one for a little as $25. That is one way though. You would need to rent another one for the drive back. Fifty dollars is not that bad. You can leave at your convenience both to and from the port.

The port is about an hour away, traveling East. It is not hard to find at all.

However, you can always purchase the trransfers. They are more expensive and you asked for cheapiest way.

Hi, you could come straight from Disney to the port with their transfers, or rent a car, or a car service...They do have parking that is safe, and is 10$ per day payable in advance...

We usually are 2 adults and 2 kids in a cat.11, and have no problems...We would rather keep the extra $$$ for other things..Having said that, we usually try for deck 6, or deck 7 aft, as there is a beautiful deck there, that not everyone knows about..SO, instead of paying for the verandah, we often go there at night, and even eat and sunbathe there sometimes...I love deck 6 or 7 for this, cause it is on deck 7 aft....

I hope this helps...and YOU LOVE cruising.. :goodvibes

As the above poster said, renting a car (I've heard Budget is best), driving yourself from WDW to Port Canaveral (45-60 minutes straight East), and turning it in at the port is cheapest and very easy. You could just rent the car and leave it there, but then you have to pay $10 per day for parking.

A tip for cat 11 rooms--try to get one on deck 7 aft. You'll be close to a public but little-used veranda. It's nice to be able to get some fresh air close by.
