Considering last minute visit. (In three days) FP availability?

While I despise paying rack rate for rooms, we are thinking of taking our grandkids for a couple days. This week, the 22nd and 23rd. 22nd is a party night so we won't be staying late but there is a room available at BC and we could make a night of it at the pool. Would there be enough options available for fast passes for a 3 and 7 year old? We went this week before and it was pretty busy. I really don't want to get there and have no options at all. Most all character dining is closed already but I expected that. Thoughts.

Just checked as of right now everything but A&E and the parades and FW are open so I'm guessing if you went ahead and bought your tickets you shouldn't have any problems.

Thank you so much. We've never done a sudden visit like this with so limited time, only two nights and two days and only decided three day before.

I looked at this on the dibbs site prior to our trip earlier this year. We had made our DPs 60 days in advance, but I wanted to understand how we would be impacted if we had to move our water park day due weather. TSMM, Soarin', Expedition Everest, the Safari, Kali and Test track usually had availability the day before but not always with TSMM being the one most likely to not be available. The MK parades, A&E and Seven Dwarves were not available on any days I looked at. I'm sure some of the times were not always convenient.

The only place we tried to additional FPs was at the MK and had pretty good luck with E ticket attractions there.

If you haven't already booked please check the Dibb. This Wednesday is Yom Kippur and many kids have off from school here in the northeast. Looks like availability is quite poor for the headliners. MSEP, Wishes, A&E, 7DMT, Peter Pan (22nd only) and Toy Story are showing as not available on 9/22 or 9/23. There's always standby of course and I'm sure many other rides that do have fp+ availability. These are just the hard to get ones.
