Considering flying AirTran from PHX to BOS

We've never flown AirTran and I'm not familiar with them at all but right now they have the best fare for our return trip from PHX to BOS this summer so I'm debating on whether to book them or stick with JetBlue. I can get $120 one-way with AirTran vs $150 one-way w/ JetBlue. Since this is our first trip to the midwest I'm not familiar with airfares to/from the midwest so I'm wondering if I should hold out a bit longer for a JetBlue sale? I booked our airfare to CA with JB in Dec and got a rate of $140 pp which at the time I thought was pretty good and it's a direct flight. Although I'm spoiled by our $100-125 r/t airfare we always get to MCO with SW!!

Any pros/cons of AirTran? We've flown JetBlue a couple of times and love them so I'm a bit nervous about trying an airline I've never flown before and I worry about AirTran changing flight times (that's one thing I love about SW).

I've heard good things about Airtran, but have never used them. I'm a big JetBlue fan --- although they don't fly out of PHL. :sad2: I think JetBlue might yet come through for you, but you have to make that call. I would pick a date by which you're comfortable for booking and go for it - try FareCompare.com or FareCast.com - they may have statistical info that will guide your decision.
