I just snagged the $49 each way fare from Southwest so it's a definite that I'm going now..

I'll arrive Nov. 30th, but will spend 2 days with my sis up in Lady Lake first. I'm going to need a room for Dec. 2nd - departing on Dec. 7th. I'd like to try out Pop Century.

I don't have an AP, so what discounts might be available between now and then?

Do I book the room now and hope for a code later? If I start paying on the room now and the discount comes out later, will they make an adjustment? Do I have to wait for the $$ to be refunded - or only if it's paid in full?

I don't know how to do any of this and was hoping all of you pro's could give me some guidance.

Thanks!

I can't believe I'm gong to Disney!!!!!!!!!!!!! :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc

Hi C.Ann :wave2:

You can absolutely book the room now, and when/if a discount code comes out, you just call back and ask them to apply the discount to your reservation. I recently did this and the difference was only $10 because I had originally booked a AAA discount, and was adding on the room-only code discount. My room was entirely paid off when I called in with the discount code. They didn't send me the difference, I am assuming it'll be in the form of a room credit. If the difference was rather large, I wonder if they could send you a check, before your arrival. Hopefully someone else can answer that part for you.

Have a wonderful time, I know you've had a lot going on in your life this past year.

I got "the" post card in the mail today! I can't believe it! Have NEVER gotten a post card!

I called right away and got Pop Century for $49 a night - Dec. 2 to Dec. 7th..

I'm goin' to Disney!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

And best of all? I talked my son-in-law into letting my DD and my granddaughter go too!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Can you tell us what state your in?
Us people way up North are wondering if maybe there is still hope.

Also, what did your postcard look like?

Was it purple and folds out? I got something like that the other day from disney (before I knew about postcards) and looked it over quickly, sure thought it was just vacation planning order form!

I hope I didn't throw away THE POSTCARD!!!

Don't think you can do this. The "code" is actually a pin# that is linked only to your name. CMs have all your information on the computer in front of them and some people have actually had to verify personnal information. The pin is person-specific. Wish it was transferrable!!! We'd all be happy.

I'm in upstate NY too - the Albany area. It's a LARGE post card with Mickey Mouse on the front - nose-to-nose with a little boy.. It's so big, you couldn't possibly miss it.. :)

In the past few weeks I have visited the disney.com site, sent for the planning video, checked ticket prices, etc. Don't know if that had anything to do with it, but you might want to go to any and all official Disney sites, log in and stick your name anywhere you can!

I'll keep my fingers crossed for you!::yes::
