Considering cancelling our 7DMT FP+ after reviews.

Thanks so much for all these replies. I am able to ride BTMRR with no problems, can ride SM too. I reckon I'll give it a shot and hope I'm not humiliated in having to get out but it sounds like I will be ok. *crosses fingers* I really like BTMRR as its about as far as I'll go on a coaster ride (rode Everest once, never again lol) and this appears to be about the same level of intensity.

Is it one lapbar for both passengers or does each seat have an individual lap bar? Just wondering if it will be a problem if my 50 lb daughter rides next to my 6'3, 300 lb husband (wouldn't want it to be too loose for her). Thanks!

I am 6' and fluffy. I found 7DMT to be very uncomfortable. I have no other issues with any other other coasters at Disney. Space Mtn, no problem. I don't need the extender on the plane either. Maybe I just have thicker legs.

The lap bar is tight on almost everyone over the age of 10, however, very few people can't ride! I urge you to go for it! It is so much fun!

I'm 6' and a 'larger' guy and I found the ride to be snug, but not painful. Even with my legs being jammed together, the ride itself is so darn short that I can overlook being uncomfortable for that amount of time (seriously, could the ride be any shorter???)

I'm 6'2" and it was a lot more roomy than I was expecting from the reviews, not bad

My 6'3" 300 lb husband said the same thing. He usually has a hard time fitting his legs in roller coasters, but had no problem with 7DMT

Based on the Youtube videos, seems like a very short ride for the wait. I FP+ it since i never rode before, but I'm sure ill do it once and move on.

Not pulling too far down on the lap bar is key. This can make a huge difference. Yes, you need it to lock - but don't overdo it with the first tug. I'm 5'9 and definitely weigh more than should, but I'm not quite Pooh sized. I find everything about the ride seating uncomfortable - the molding of the back, the ankle guard thing, the lap bar that is just too tight on the thighs.

That said - its SO short - the discomfort can be overlook. It's really cute, smooth, and fun to ride.

The "injury your neck and back ride" -- known by some as Space Mountain - has more comfortable seating IMO, but definitely more pain causing overall!!!
