Would love some input for those who have dined here. Ever had the 5-cheese sampler? Any good? What else would you suggest?

Any type of flatbread being offer at the time & pork tenderloin over polenta!:cool1:

CG is one of our favorites, enjoy!

The flat breads are wonderful. We also had a steak dish while we were there and it was delicious!

Their sushi is incredible! I had a fish dish that was to die for. If it's really busy when you are there ask if you can be seated in the wine room...that's where we were seated on our last trip. It was a nice cozy, out of the way room. We just went outside to watch the fireworks and it was incredible. But from out table we were able to see the electrical water pageant.

we always get the cheese plate, it's wonderful. We especially love the fruit/nut accompaniments they pair each cheese with. Now, this being said, last time there was one cheese on the plate that was, um, kinda nasty, lol. Even the server said that she didn't like that one! Don't worry, it was just a really strong flavored cheese and we didn't care for it, but that doesn't mean you won't like it. Besides, the cheeses offered changes quite often, so it's probably not even on there anymore. We've had it several times and that was the only time there was a cheese we didn't love on it. I'll be having it next week, so if I remember, I will tell you what we had this time.

I highly recommend the cheese plate. Also, the pork tenderloin and polenta is wonderful too.

Just wanted to add that you should be aware that some of the cheeses will be made from sheep or goat milk, not just cow dairy if that matters to you. I think there may have been a water buffalo one time as well!

These will be strong, interesting cheeses, I promise. :thumbsup2

Thanks for all the replies (and the pic of the cheeses . . . looks great!). I'm a fan of intense cheeses, so I'm sure I'll be fine. Glad to hear the good reports. I was looking at the cheeses and the pork tenderloin w/polenta, so I'm glad they get high marks. Think I'll book this for my Jan. trip. :)

We were just there two weeks ago. :sigh:

The flatbreads are great. The filet was the best I have ever had. You could literally cut it with the fork. It was our favorite meal of the whole trip.
