Considering an add-on, BUT...

I'm thinking about 25, maybe 50, more SSR or AKV (I'm still undecided!) points, March UY. Would I wind up with 07 points, and if so, could I bank them for next year, even though I've already banked current year points?

you should get 2007 points and all will be available to bank. i added on twice in 2005 and 2006 and i got those years points and all was available to bank.
just ask your guide and make sure when you are purchasing the points. should be in the system in a day or two than go ahead and bank them right way that way if they give you any trouble in banking you will still be in your timeline to back out of the purchase.enjoy

We just added-on (again) at AKV - Apr. UY....we got 2007 points which we banked because we're not planning on returning to WDW until May '08.

We just purchased an add-on at VWL (Dec. UY) and still banked 2006 points even though it was past our banking window. Our guide said they will allow you to do this with add-ons, but not for initial purchases.

I also have a March UY. I called this morning to add on 30 more points at BCV, and my guide said "for members we allow you to bank any new contract points".
