oh, honey, you know tolerance is a one way street.
Here's another thing-I stay away from the liberal thread. I do so because I really believe that the different sides need a place where they can go and be themselves. I don't read there, I don't post there-and even if I did
I would never drag anything said there out onto the main board. I thought that was the idea of having the two threads.
Congrats on your 3000th post!!!
Have they done that yet again??
... I need to get caught up over here.
That's because you understand history!
I've begun to notice that they like to re-write history. The fact is; this country was founded on religion. In today's society, religion isn't such a big factor like it was back then.
But just because
you personally don't believe in religion, you can't go and change a fact.
But, yeah, Ive noticed a huge intolerance from those screaming for tolerance the loudest. Lets see
we had the courthouse holiday displays in that one city. They didnt want the nativity scene, despite that
all religions and beliefs were allowed to put up a display and not just the Christians, and some of the atheist went out of their way with their display in attempts to overshadow the nativity scene. Only the Christians were targeted in that. I cant recall the details; but I think there was a thread on it.
Theres always a thread on something around here.
Oh, and the eharmony lawsuit? Just
how many homosexual dating sites are out there? but thats not good enough? They just had to target one that is more geared towards Christians. So, should the Christians sue the homosexual sites for discrimination? Should the Jews? Should all of the heterosexuals? Different websites cater to different types of people, theres something for
everyone!, and the fact that eharmony was sued showed intolerance on the part of the ones that sued them!
