Hey - could y'all pray for a college friend of mine? His father passed away on Monday after a long illness. There's a sense of relief but sadness, too - and it wasn't that long ago that this friend's mother died. Goodness, I've known this lovely family for 20 years...what can you say...

Anyway, all that to say - the funeral is tomorrow....

Monday. But I'm only there for a week before heading to WDW. I'm doing online classes this semester.

Can you all tell I come bearing good news? Well, I do! My mom made it through her first surgery this morning fine, although she's still a little woozy from the anesthesia and sedative they put her on. The surgeon had the area looked at under a microscope in the OR immediately, and he said there was no sign of a mass and, as far as they could tell today, it was non-cancerous! They'll still send it off to be tested at a lab, but he expects it to come back fine. Praise God, is all I have to say. I was so worried she'd have to deal with this on both sides. Thankfully, it doesn't look that way.

Oh, that's such wonderful news!!!

I met a guy who is pretty much awesome.... we share like all the same interests (number one on the list, y'all are gonna love it- he's a huge Glenn fan) and we've been talking all night. I'm curious what's going to happen.... hmmmm....

Same rule applied when 24 was on. We'd be talking during commercial breaks and as soon as the show came back on he'd hang up
