My favorite "young" Pitt movie are "A River Runs Through it" and "Legends of the Fall". Lucky for me, they're two of DH's favorite movies so I get my brad fix in quite regularily! We actually toyed with moving to Montana, years ago.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE "Legends of the Fall"!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! One of my top five favorites!! Not only Brad Pitt.... but also Henry Thomas. And I am totally in love with Henry Thomas.

He's not completely laid off so that's good. But he still doesn't get to go back to work until the end of next week and they're still only giving them 32 hours.
So that's 2 1/2 weeks with no pay. He said he's going to get a temporary second job and maybe file for unemployment.

We're having homemade pulled barbeque beef sandwiches for dinner tonight. Yum yum!

Well, it's off to our church watch night service - we hang out and play games and pray in the new year. We might need to pray a little harder this time 'cause last year was a doozie!

It started an hour ago - hope I didn't miss all the good snacks.

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!!!!!! It is really comforting to know that, whatever the crazy world of politics sends our way, we at least have some great folks with whom to commiserate.

And, Tink, thanks for letting us know about your DH....scary on all fronts.

I'm normally a blonde Tink but happen to be red right now.

Thanks for the compliments on Robbie. He does have some of the cutest expressions, if I do say so myself. He's quite the character, too. Loves Mickey and Minnie. He gets thrilled seeing the pictures, believe it or not.

sadly...this is rather amusing.

I agree! Even the parts I didn't agree with had me giggling!

It is just after 11 and we obviously didn't go to the movies. DH passed out cold. At midnight I'll wake him up, wish him a happy new year, and let him get back to his sleep.


ETA>> This line in Dave Barry's column had me howling. No, DH didn't wake up. He's dead to the world and used to hearing me go into fits of laughter.
