No, I'm just a good emergency foster. I don't have the ability or will to say No. and the director and I are in touch a lot. I try to help when I can. Since they are the only rescue group around, they are always in need of fostering and supplies.

well since i received a warning from the moderator saying i "quoted inappropriate material", i won't now question why somebody would complain only about warren, and not about the duo going into office.

I received one, too. I think it was more about that video, and in that case, I understand where the mods are coming from. Looking back, I'm surprised I quoted it.

I received one, too. I think it was more about that video, and in that case, I understand where the mods are coming from. Looking back, I'm surprised I quoted it.

I agree this is inappropriate. While I respect others' opinions, there are times when I just want to talk with like-minded folks. That's what this thread is for. I'm sure there are other threads where you can debate, but I'm afraid this is not one of them.

So you're saying that liberals don't know how to deal with their issues other than by drinking, or what? Thanks for the confession, but we don't host the AA meeting here. It should probably have its own thread.

well the video was hilarious, but i didn't post it. i think my warning was about quoting the soon to be vice president. if THAT isn't allowed, then most of the threads on this board should not be allowed.

But you quoted the post with the link in it, right? So did I, and I got warned too. I don't think it is particularly unfair. Political viewpoint aside, there were a few things that are not especially "family friendly" in that video. IMO it's just a "say oops and move on" situation.

if it was that, then i guess okay. if it was quoting the v.p., then not okay. but i'm not feeling especially friendly to people who jump on the CONSERVATIVE thread and complain about what is said or shown here. (there just isn't an emoticon to express my disgust at this moment.)

update: i see that it was the video quote. most were removed i see. and by that i mean they missed one.

sorry about the skylight - I think those things were invented by people who live in deserts or in houses with no skylights - those things always leak...

i have not seen this very selfish question yet: what was your favorite christmas gift this year?

mine was a lovely cologne my father surprised me with...he has trouble walking, but went into macy's during the christmas rush, sniffed around, and picked it out so that i would have a surprise. (there aren't many 'cause i do most of the prep.)

my other favorite is just that my family still likes to spend christmas together. i loved that and i think it is a real gift.

I'm back in Winter Haven. Of all the places in the whole world I have been to and lived in, I have only longed to return to central Florida. It is good to know where home is.

I'll be here for two more weeks before moving to D.C., then I'll be back in Winter Haven from April until August. Hopefully, I will be moving to Malibu in August to start law school at Pepperdine!!!
