Ok ok...so I'm going to try and sneak this in here and mayyyybe no one will notice, but then at some point I can reference this and say, hey remember that one time I did mention it... I've got mixed feelings on Palin. I mean, there's part of me that really likes her, but I really don't think she should run in 2012. I think there's a lot of other really strong Republicans. I like her in general, and I liked her as a VP candidate, but I don't feel strongly for her being the Pres candidate. And honestly, doesn't she have a state to run?? Why has she been doing all these interviews lately?
Well now
our country
did just elect Barack Obama and she
does (despite all that the liberals try to ignore) have a
heck of a lot more accomplishments under her belt than he currently does. So if
hes good enough to be President of the United States
.
Actually, I agree. I love Palin. Shes a genuine person who believes in hard work and actually goes out and accomplishes things. However, I dont want her running for President in 2012. I want her to move into the US Senate next. I want her to gain some legislative experience and I think shed be good there. We need more people like her there. Later in her life, maybe shed be an excellent candidate to run for POTUS.
Seriously, she was the good thing about the McCain campaign; I wasnt thrilled in having to vote for him until she came on board. If I was going to have to vote for a moderate Dem (ahem) I still rather vote for Hillary Clinton (yup) over John McCain.
About the interviews, I don't think she has much of a choice. She's still too much of a public interest. My co-worker reads cnn.com a lot (dont know why) and says theyre always pulling in stuff on Palin; no matter how insignificant. Really, all the libs on there just go off on a serious bash fest in the comment section; but CNN wouldnt be doing that if there wasnt still a genuine interest in Palin.
Wow, completely and shamelessly contrived. Ick.
Well. I admit to lurking on the lib thread yesterday. I don't do that very often, but I did yesterday. It was intentional to post that letter on the main board to see how fast a conservative would bash it. What I find to be funny is that the first person to be snarky over there was a Democrat who confessed to voting for, and liking, Obama. While that poster was called out for being snarky, it was blatantly ignored that poster was a Obama supporter.
But, yes, that letter was very contrived. It wasnt written for his daughters, it was written as a publicity stunt
. Just like his prayer at the Wailing Wall was released to the media and just how his private reflection at the Lincoln Memorial was made public to the media.
OK.. read a bit more of that thread now. It was only started to get us to bash the letter so that they could bash us. Its sad actually. Oh, and they apparently want yet
another opportunity to bash Pailn, why else would she have been brought up?
See? This is why Palin is still doing interviews; shes still to high in demand to be able to be left alone in Alaska. As long as shes in demand the left will continue to bash her and spread lies about her she needs to be able to speak up for herself.
Oh. And shes not a whiner. She went through the entire election taking that abuse and kept her mouth shut. A guy wants to do a documentary about everything and she has an opportunity to finally tell her side of the story and shes a whiner? Pleeease.
fidiots. i'd prefer to see drilling further away from national monuments too, but there is no way to call this racist without finishing the statement by saying, "NOT!"
this implies that the only people who are poor are of a particular race. that is pure ignorance.
Everyone became so accustomed of falsely crying racism throughout the election and not getting called on it they dont care that this has nothing to do with racism. If I lived in the area Id show up with a sign stating that Obama is also against drilling and ask them if theyre going to protest Obama at the White House next week, after he moves in.
And yes, they are basically stating that only black people are poor and live in inner city slums. They, like Im noticing a lot of people (mainly those that profess to be liberal), dont actually
think before they speak.
1. "stylish"...she is more masculine than the pres. elect and she walks like a monster.
2. i'll fall on the floor laughing if they have painted velvet paintings of themselves with elvis.
Oh, I just saw a book at the store titled: Michelle Obama First Lady of Hope.
One, if they were going to call her First Lady in the title, they should have waited until she actually receives that title next week before releasing the book
Two, has
anyone yet figured out exactly the Obama's definition of 'hope' because he's never made it clear. He just says the word 'hope' and his followers begin screaming, crying and fainting. No wonder he hasn't had to define 'hope' yet.
