The word "hope" was taken from the land of the good, and is now used for dark purposes. We will pray it returns, but for now, we must assume she is lost to the dark side.![]()

Hey guys, staunch Lib here, but I hope you dont mind if I come over here and ask a questions.
What do you think of the new Hannity show on Fox? (Without Colmes)
I am a news hound, and jump all over the spectrum. I actually watch a lot of Fox. I liked the new show, Hannity can handle his own show, but I hated the set! It was just a huge distraction.

IMO, they'd really have to twist it in order to be taken that way. If anyone does, that means they are a weeeeeee bit sensitive.

) out at that point or if I just don't care to listen to him
You mean like a lib?

Salutations, greetings, and "hey there hi there ho there" my conservative friends!
It seems that I've been out of the DIS loop for a couple of weeks, but much has transpired...
- I had an absolutely phenomenal 4 days of learning and fun in Orlando, which I must find some time to explain some details about
- Dems hypocrisy level is now at "code orange" (Inauguration costs? Cabinet members employing illegals? What is this... W's third term!!??)
- My beloved Carolina Panthers laid a giant egg
- I booked a family WDW vacation for May using the "buy 4/get 7" incentive. We'll be staying at POFQ, which I know zero about but I'm sure it'll be great.![]()
Good point. But I mean, you'd really have to twist it. And I'd like to think that just because someone is a lib that doesn't mean they've completely lost their common sense...maybe??![]()
Well, obviously from my siggie I'm partial, but from what I've watched, I really like it. My hubby and I usually watch together, and he's away this week, so I DVRd the show, and we'll watch them when he gets home. I've only peeked a little bit here and there. I didn't take note of the set, but will be sure to do so.
I never liked Alan Colmes. While I like a good debate, his style drove me nuts. He always talked over the guests when he didn't like what they had to say, and gave inane rebuttals, in my opinion. I was glad to see him go.
If they were ever to partner Hannity back up again, I'd love to see Kristen Powers, a Dem political analyst. She filled in for Alan occasionally, and is on the pundit pit alot in the morning on Fox & Friends, on the lib side. She always gives intelligent and articulate views from the "other" side.![]()
So now he's adopted the same stance as Bush on the issue!Barack Obama suggested last night that removing Osama bin Laden from the battlefield was no longer essential and that America's security goals could be achieved merely by keeping al-Qaeda "on the run".
"My preference obviously would be to capture or kill him," he said. "But if we have so tightened the noose that he's in a cave somewhere and can't even communicate with his operatives then we will meet our goal of protecting America."
His comments, in a CBS interview, represent a significant watering down of the "dead or alive" policy pursued by President Bush since the terror attacks of September 11, 2001. They also appear to contradict Mr Obama's own statements made in the election campaign.
So far I only watched one show (Monday). It was good. I did find the set to be "busy" and kind of distracting. Hannity did really well, though. I kind of wish he got another co-host. I was never really impressed with Alan Colmes, though.
Freezing??!?!Come up here and tell me that

Have a nice night!

Holy crap...
(it's real)

I never liked Colmes either. I agree 100% on your assesment of him and his debate style.
Ewww and he reminded me of 'Skeletor'. That dude is butt ugly.![]()
And I also agree that I like to hear from the 'other' side as well, contrary to popular belief of some. I would like to see Kirsten Powers as well. Even though I really want to smack her sometimes, I think it would make the show more interesting.![]()
DO NOT INHALE WHILE INGESTING BEIGNETS!!! It's just not pretty.

Oh well, I'm not gonna worry about it. Life goes on. I just have to watch myself extra carefully when I'm tired. I would be just like Michael Scott if I were not consciously going over my words all the time (the joys of Asperger's).
I like you all!![]()
Also, I think "An inconvenient thread" is hysterical.
That's a good one.
Only one I can think of is Conservative Wars: A New Hope
But I'm also a Star Wars geek plus the use of 'hope' makes me giggle...

Noooooooo....I would suggest that the other side is selling false hope spoken from the lips of a false prophet!

Well, it looks like yet another of Obama's campaign themes has reached its expiration date... Remember the shtick he used against McCain about how O would "go to Bin Laden's cave" to get him. Weeeeelllll, not so much now. O's decided that confining him to his cave is good enough! I kid you not...So now he's adopted the same stance as Bush on the issue!
Hussein's such a tool. It's also funny how his base, er, I mean "The US media" hasn't noticed this "nuanced" change in O's position (even though it was from a CBS interview). We gotta hear about it in the London Times!I'm shocked! Shocked I tell you.

I agree with you. I don't care for the set and as much as I like Sean Hannity, I also liked it when there was an opposing view. I also didn't care for Alan Colmes and liked Kristen Powers as well. But as for the set? Way too busy for me.Hey guys, staunch Lib here, but I hope you dont mind if I come over here and ask a questions.

Say it ain't so Geoff! Looks like the libs are getting Bush's third term after all.Well, it looks like yet another of Obama's campaign themes has reached its expiration date... I really like Bob Beckel. I don't agree with him on a lot of points, but I like listening to him. He doesn't get all riled up and he does have a sense of humor.Between The Bachelor and American Idol, I have yet to catch it, and tonight isn't going to happen either because of CSI. I liked the banter between Sean and Alan, although Alan didn't get fiesty enough until recent months. Kirsten is a classy lib, and she stands her own and doesn't let Sean get her all riled up. I'm just not sure she'd have enough spunk for the long haul. If you really wanted to see some fireworks, they should pair him with Bob Beckel. That guy doesn't take it laying down, plus he has a sense of humor.
