I must live a chocolate-sheltered life because I've never heard of Almond Bark until y'all started talking about it last night. Perhaps I'll try it sometime.

My dad has similar issues with "fake crab" like you do. He grew up near the ocean and they mostly ate seafood that they caught, so fake anything doesn't set well with him. Me, I hate seafood, so I don't give a hoot one way or the other.


My dad loves blue crab from the Chesapeake Bay area (right near the Atlantic Ocean). Not sure if they sell that throughout the country, or if it's more of a regional thing.

I've been to Tampa (day trip from WDW). I've been to Boston for almost a week, years ago. Never been any of the other places. I realize that's probably a song, but just thought I'd share.

Okay, almond bark is totally not worth eating for its own sake. Get some pretzels and dip in it or something. But I really recommend sticking to the white. The "chocolate" is pretty pitiful. Think Palmer chocolate (ick).

Nope, can't get blue crab here. My husband doesn't do seafood at all, just like you, but he swears he would eat blue crab if I brought that home. I think he's full of the bully pooey, and only saying it because he knows I can't get it.

And I think the only one of those places I've been is Denver.

I wanted to let you guys know that I'm in love....

I usually get the Whole Nut but this time I got the Royal Dark Chocolate and all I can say is

That looks gorgeous...and sadly I can't eat dark chocolate any more. I love it, but all of a sudden the last couple of years it gives me horrendous heartburn. It's tragic I tell ya.

Mmmm...food.

I've barely eaten today and I am starving.

Oh, and bad news...because DH's job cut his hours down we will not be going to DLR/DCA during Christmas.
