OK. I'm confused. For some crazy reason I thought that you guys were arriving on the 24th - Christmas Eve- are you arriving on the 23rd? That's my arrival date.

We're traveling down on the 23rd and arriving early in the morning on the 24th. We'll be leaving around four or five in the evening on the 23rd (after my dad and sister get off work) and drive all night.

There are a bunch of people arguing about this on another site. That image on the look alike page seems to be an official portrait of him and it appears on roughly 1/3 of all sites referencing him. His actual photos are a little different, but this picture is widely used on many pages world wide and has been used pre Obama.

When I don't have the money for it I don't think I could personally justify pulling it out of savings that's meant for something else. There's something I want very badly but I have to save up for it; it's going to cost me $500. In between bills, bills, cost of living and bills, who knows how long it'll take me?

Hmm, my elf name is Holly-Tummy... What a coincidence, I love to eat, and I love the name Holly, so much so that it was almost my daughter's name!!!

My daughter was due December 27th, and I was so excited to be having a baby around Christmas, my absolutely favorite holiday, and was hoping it would be a girl, not that I wouldn't love a boy, but had two boys ages 5 & 6 at the time. I told EVERYONE that if I had a girl I would name her Holly Nicole.

On the way to the hospital, on December 17th, I was thinking that Holly really doesn't sound like a prima ballerina's name, so I changed the name to Lauren Elizabeth, which I thought sounded very elegant. My husband at the time, said he really liked the name Allison, so we made a deal. If she was bald she'd be Allison, and if she had hair she'd be Lauren. We figured this was fair since our first son had a head of hair that could have been styled the day he was born, and our second son was what we called a cubie head, you know, bald like a cue ball! We had a girl, ten days early, 9 lb, 12 oz, named Lauren Elizabeth, with lots of hair! Except everyone kept calling me to congratulate me on the birth of Holly!

As it turned out, she HATED dance classes, so my dreams of her being the lead in the "Nutcracker" someday were dashed. Guess I could have named her Holly after all!

I've been on the phone with AT&T for about an hour now trying to pay my bill. They don't get it that their website isn't letting me past the login page. I log in, but then it keeps circling back to the same "where do you want to go" page. GAH. I just want to pay my bill and I can't do it over the phone for some dumb reason. GAH. I don't receive paper bills - just online ones, and it won't let me past a certain page so I can pay the bill. I'm logged in, but it's something wrong on their side. So frustrating!

Gotcha. I fly. We did the driving thing the couple of times to Disney when I was a kid. (I was a deprived child, I only got to go to Disney three times as a kid: ages 2, 5 and 15 ) As an adult, paying for my own trips, I fly. I don't think that I could do the drive when I'd have to be the one driving it. It was always a two day drive for us.

Have a safe drive. I'm so excited - and I know that you are... only 21 more days!!! (14 more work days. )

Thanks! Joe and Mike are 17 months apart. Joe just turned 29 and Mike will be 28 in March. Lauren will be 23 on December 17th. Gosh, time has flown by. Makes me kinda sad. Mike was just married a year this past November 25th, and probably no babies for awhile, darn it! I can't wait until we have a little Disney prince or princess running around. Lauren will be graduating from the University of the Arts this coming May, and Joe is single and a hard-core gamer.

Hey, Deb #3 -- what kind of Fuji do you have?

and do you have any great tips on using it?

I've got a Fuji S6000FD. I got it based on some recommendation on the DIS photography board for low light capabilities (dance and choir) as well as sports.

I wish I knew more about photography. I took a photography class this fall, but still need to learn more about aperture/shutter speed/iso...and putting it into practice.

My idea was once I get the hang of that, then I can move into an actual dSLR. This is can do everything automatic, but you can also set everything yourself.
