Interesting article about the newest form of communication and how the Dems beat the Repubs to it:

I'm about as technologically advanced as Fred Flintstone - does anyone more savvy use Twitter?

I've heard of it, but I don't use it myself. Can nny tech-savvy people clue us in on it?

I know this is a bit OT, but I found the coolest thing today.

I was at the Dollar Tree looking for scented Christmas candles. Consequently all I found were smelly candles. Why do all the candles there smell like stinky feet?
I digress; I didn't find any good candles because they were all cleaned out. But I did find Disney Christmas window clings! :thumbsup2
I got Pooh/Tigger/Eeyore/Piglet and Tinkerbell! Yay!

That's another thing I miss about the Lower 48...dollar stores. We don't have any...:sad1:

I must say, it was a wonderful Black Friday. My brother and I got up at 4am to go to the local department store. Nothing crazy going on there, but I suggested we run from the car to the front door for tradition's sake. He refused, so we did not. Anyway, I found a great deal on an overcoat for D.C., then decided to go home and go to bed. I spent the evening with my cousin at Epcot. We wanted to attend the opening night of Candlelight and hear Mr. Peterman read the Gospel. It was a delightful evening that I capped off with an Opus X and a Guinness in the France Pavillion after Holiday Illuminations.

One funny story: While waiting in line to purchase a beer in America, I heard a guest ahead of me ask if the seasonal beer was by Sam Adams. The castmember said no, it was Anheuser-Busch. The guest went with a regular Sam Adams. The beer snob in me completely agreed with the guest, but for kicks I thought I would go through the same procedure of asking if the seasonal was Sam Adams, and then rejecting it for the real Sam Adams!

I'm no beer snob, but I was trying to find me some Arrogant B's yesterday. Couldn't find any!:confused3 Geez, I live in New Jersey!
You'd think we'd find them here?

Had to settle for a very nice French Merlot.

Well, whatya know? I got sensored for a brand name ale?:rotfl2:

Wow!! Sounds nice!! Your story reminds me- I have a good friend named Sam Adams. Everyone always asks him if he was named after the beer.:rotfl:
If you're interested or if anyone else is interested in my Christmas siggie stuff, feel free to add it to your siggie.
Can I add that little tree to mine? The one that looks like it's doing the hula.:dance3:

Yeah, except I took Polynesian dance (hula and Tahitian) and that hula is upside-down. It should be moving it's bottom, not it's top.

Typical-thanks Al Bore for starting this crap. Looks like it will become the OS time honored tradition. Bunch of weiners.
:rotfl: :lmao: :rotfl2:

Haha well that's the best way I could describe it.
What do we know? We're just conservative ignoramuses, right? :rotfl:

I'll bet no one else is going to be at DL or DCA in Dec, huh? Everybody's going to WDW. I can't meet up with anyone. :sad1:

Are you EVER gonna make it to WDW? Please??:sad1: You'll get left out being like the only one of us at DL/DCA.

You guys think the new countdown in my signature is ok? Or should I take it out? I don't think it would violate anything....

I took the EOAE one out.... yeah, I noticed that when I made that one. I didn't realize the ticker already had "until" in it until I pasted it into my siggy here.:lmao:

Stuff like that drives me bonkers. Ask Charade how just a period and a comma could send me over the edge.:lmao: :rotfl2:

Duh, huh, whaaa????

We'd love to go to WDW; it'll most likely be Sep '09 or Jan '10. Too far away! :sad1:

Do I sense a possible Conservative Board DIS meet ?
