Well, it does get to you, first. YOu have special powers over the storm then, right? Whatever you do, don't send it to Canada. They like to make it windier and colder and then send it back to us! LOL
I have seen that much snow maybe 3 times in my lifetime. We had some nasty ice here in March, but it had melted by the end of the day. We haven't had anything stick on the ground and be more than an inch in about 4 years. Shame because I like snow, as long as I'm not forced to drive in it.
Thanks. All I want for Christmas is about 50 gallons of gas. I'm worried about being able to keep the gen going. Ugh. I am really regretting not trying to get out today. I think tomorrow I'm going to call my neighbor and ask if my kids can come over to play so I can try to get out to get gas and a few other things that would make life easier if we lose power for a week or more (which is what usually happens any time we get significant ice or wind...lotsa trees around here to fall down and take out the power). I really should have done it today, but I was afraid of ending up walking with my kids. My daughter outgrew her snow boots, and she'd be in tennis shoes and cotton socks. Worst possible thing. Well, other than sandals.
Our really horrible winter weather blows down out of Canada too.
I'm proud of you, too. Good luck in getting a generator.

I got most of my work done ahead of time, the kids are with grandparents until this afternoon so the house will stay pretty neat.
