Um, thanks for the offer, but I think I'll wash the windows... But I can bring it over so we can bask in it's Glenn-ness! He touched it. He signed it. It is now sacred. Why on earth someone gave that up, I'll never know...

I'll bring it when I come visit you sometime. I'll will half the signature to each of you if something happens to me during surgery.

First, you wash windows on old house when I move to new house. Or can help me vacuum new house. Either way.
And yeah, I'd like to see the book. That's very cool. Still wish you could come up before you leave for TX.

And second, nothing is going to happen to you during surgery (I almost wrote pregnancy! ). Don't even talk like that. If that's what it takes to get the book I don't want it.

Mmmmmm...that's sounds delicious! No joke! If anyone's noticed I've been...a little bit...uh.. "grouchy". More so than usual.

It's because I'm STARVING!!! I'm on a diet...lost 10 1/2 lbs...the last 4 weeks. BUT, I'M HUNGRY!!! I have 9 1/2 lbs to my goal.

By, gosh darn it...DD's getting married in June. I MUST look good. There are pictures involved that I won't be able to hide in the back of my closet.

I'm losing my voice now. How do you run a meeting without a voice? I have postponed a meeting three times now because either I or my kids were sick. I can't postpone it again. Let's hope I can talk tomorrow between 3 and 5 - the rest of the day I don't need a voice at all.

When we get together, I'll bring the book. I wish I could come over too. But once my parents get home, I've decided to limit contact with people and unfortunately, no one with kids that are in any sort of school or having play dates because I can't afford to get sick. But we'll have a big old bash for my birthday when I come back! Mark the first part of June on the calendar. We're going to live it up!!!!!!

Thanks Tink! You're right, nothing is going to happen. I'm a little scared right now because the hospital wants me to fill out my durable power of attorney and living will. I never thought at 30, I'd need to fill those things out.

Yup, this is the one I got used at the book store. I can't believe my luck! I didn't even look at it before I bought it, it was the only copy they had. I just grabbed it and paid. It wasn't until I was home later that night talking to Soarin' that we found out.

Well, then, I'll have to see what I can do. If I'm feeling good enough, I might be able to come up for a day before I go or I'll see if I can convince my mom that she needs to go to Seattle for something...

I really want to go to my cousin's kid's birthday party, but it's just a few days before we go and I'm not sure I want to be in house with all those kids. Most are in school...

I've been sitting back thinking about all these things that I should/shouldn't do in the weeks before hand. Like I was thinking, oh, I'll swim in San Antonio and the night before in Houston, then I realized that swimming probably isn't a good idea because I don't want germy water in my nose.

I think filling out a living will is always a good idea. DH and I talked about it when Michael Schiavo fought so hard to kill his wife.

That was just plain crazy in that case. I never really thought about it before, but yeah, it's a good idea. I don't think it would be freaking me out so much if I was just doing it to do it, not in conjunction with surgery.
