Conservative Thread: U.S. Steele - Back In Business

I don't know, but he was pretty emphatic about it. He talked about it for around 10-15 minutes at the start of the service. Personally, I wouldn't want to mess with him, he was a linebacker in the NFL. He's really conservative and speaks out against gay rights and other stuff, so I can see him being a target. He also was very open about who he was voting for, so there wasn't any question that he wasn't voting for Obama. He's a pretty intense guy on the surface, but when you get to talk to him in person, he's like a big teddy bear.

blows me away that somebody would threaten to kill somebody over this. what freaks.

Oh, well, I guess my reasoning was wrong: I figured that he didn't give a rat's behind about the military that he just took command of and has never served in. :rolleyes1

Of course he cared about them until he got their vote and then he threw them under the bus

i know, 'cause it would problee be so messy.

Well, if Tony Soprano, Paulie Walnuts, Sil, and Chrissy were around, I probably wouldn't think as much of killing someone since they're pros at it, but since none of them are around, guess it's just not in the cards. :lmao: :rotfl: :rotfl2:

Uh-oh, there will be some more "whinnying" over sour grapes again.:)

:lmao: I'm trying to give them a legitimate excuse for the "sour grapes" thing b/c right now all I can do is roll my eyes every time I see them go off about that.

Biden's a placeholder in case Obama gets a second term. He won't be put up again as VP because they need someone who can run in 2016 should Obama get 2 terms. Who do you think it'll be in 2012?

More than likely, John Edwards would have been the VP choice if he hadn't been caught... um...

Ok, gotta catch up. I'm weary. Hit 3 parks in one day-yes. 3!!! AK, DHS, MK.

I have a neat story from MK, though- today it was pretty chilly so over my t-shrt I was wearing a hoodie from my college back home. I go over to BTMRR to get in the SB line and the CM on the FP line waved me over. Turned out HE was from Mississippi too, knew EXACTLY where my college was, and my hometown too!!! He then proceeded to give me a Fastpass!! I walked onto BTMRR with a five minute wait AND thanks to this CM giving me that FP, I was able to get to the ride vehicles in time to get the very front row- my favorite!! 'Course this CM was also pretty darn cute.... :rolleyes1

And one of the times I was on RnRC as a single rider, the party that boarded in the regular line before me was a 3 person party- an older man and his two teenage grandsons. I rode with the older man, and I thought it was so sweet, before we boarded the car, he introduced himself to me, shook my hand, and told me he was glad to get to ride with me.:goodvibes We won't even get into the woman ahead of me in line at the Main Street Bakery tonight- I bet she was a lib.:crazy2: She acted like one of them. Oh yeah, I had the apple turnover from the bakery. YUUUUM!!!!!!!

The thought of RnRC 8 times is really making me queasy. Then again, maybe it is from the frosty and fries! :lmao:
I doscovered today that EE is totally boring to me now. I mean..... after RnRC like a million times, yeah.....:upsidedow
We Glenn fans do need to stick together. After all, Duct tape is cheaper when bought in bulk!
:thumbsup2 Hey, I'm remembering that for our next thread title!!!!
Oh, and Soarin'.....

Don't forget to ride soarin' for me. Is the orange smell back?
I am tomorrow.:goodvibes It's been back since like Christmas!!!
The Big Game is almost here so here's a bunch of game munchies to get us started....

Go Steelers!!!!!!!!

Thanks Breezy!!!!
It is good to have a change in the GOP.
Hi there!
:thumbsup2
While not wanting to beat a dead horse, I feel that I had to post this. Remember how all the Libs denied that the ball honoring the Medal of Honor recipients ever took place? Remember how some of us were attacked by the rabid OS? Well the American Legion posted a story on their site about the ball with a good video of some of the attendees.

I wanted all of my Con friends to get a chance to read about some of their stories and see some of the men that were honored at the ball, even if their Commander in Chief felt like they weren't worthy to be graced by his presence.

I am thankful for those brave men and their service to our country, even if others seem to find them unimportant.
Thanks for that article Humphrey. It's amazing how THEY refuse to admit when they are wrong. Makes me sick.
While I do not like Biden (at all...), I am thankful that he and Jill went to the ball. Good move on his part, very respectful and appreciated. Cannot say the same for the Obamas.
Yeah, that was a nice move on his part. I'm glad at least he acknowledged them.
I think bho will try to clone himself so he can be his own vp.
Seriously, though, I think he should ask Howard Dean
:lmao:
hillary v.p. 2012. hillary runs for pres. again 2016. that is unless bho gets his dream to eliminate term limits and becomes empress...I MEAN...emperor.
:lmao: again.
Nice!

Soarin', would you recommend this time of year? Crowd levels not bad? How about the hours at the parks; I know you mentioned 10 at MK. I am thinking about booking at the Bay Lake Tower next year, but only bought enough points to go in early Dec, Oct or Jan. Think I might like late January.

OMG! I was away for a couple of days and you guys went and started another thread without me? :guilty:

Oh well, I'm here now, let's party!
:rockband: party:

:thumbsup2 Crowd level is low-medium, I'd say. Longest wait so far I've seen (on a Saturday, which seems to be the busiest day) is 45 minutes for Soarin'. Best time to ride anything at MK, I found out, for this time of year is between 7-8pm during Spectro and Wishes.

Park hours- AK usually from 9am-5pm; Epcot keeps the usual hours; MK 9am-8pm, same for DHS. Of course EMH are offered too so that varies.

Popping in to say that I'm listening to Wishes on Subsonicradio...and am being transported to MK - near the Partners statue where we watched it that last night....*sniff*
