Hi,

We returned from our trip to the world two weeks ago so to combat the post holiday blues we are looking at booking a trip for next year!
We are looking at doing our first Disney cruise in the Med August 2014.
I have priced up trips with Disneycruise line and Dreams Unlimited. Dreams Unlimited is slightly cheaper and we get onboard credit if booking through them. The only downside I can see is that if the pound dips in value again it may end up costing us more.

Is there anything else I should be aware of?

We've had nothing but good experiences with Dreams Unlimited, there is always the same person on the end of an email and she gets back to us quickly. We've always saved money over all although I agree the fluctuations in the dollar rate can cause some concerns. We always base prices on 1.50, if it's over we benefit, under we lose. It all evens out.

They also got us the best price for Pop Century this August as we were quite late in booking. Plus if US Free Dining eventually appears for the end of August (unlikely) she'll just move the booking for us. No hassle at all.

We got a pin a few weeks ago for us free dining for our oct dates and I know late aug was on the offered dates.

I know getting a pin is luck but we seemed to get more after searching on the us website but not booking. May be worth a try.

Used DU a few times, can't fault the service I have had.
I once booked a cruise with DU to secure the cabin I wanted then while on another cruise I rebooked onboard to get the extra discount, a quick email to DU on return and they sorted out my discount & cabin I wanted, seemed really complicated at the time but they knew exactly what I wanted to do and sorted it in no time.

Exchange rate can go either way, its a slight gamble but it rarely changes a great deal.

We used DU once and they really were excellent.. would def use again should the need arise:thumbsup2

Another family here who have used DU for our Disney cruises ...... they were fantastic to deal with, very helpful and replied to all my emails really quickly. We'd have no hesitation in using them again or recommending them to others :thumbsup2

We have taken the plunge and booked via Dreams Unlimited. Will be on the Med cruise of the Magic on 30th August 2014. Will go and get a new ticker now!
Thanks everyone for your replies.

Will we be on the cruise after you? we board 6th Sept 2014 for the 14 nt Transatlantic.
