Connections -- what happened and how do I cancel my account?

I'm sure it's been posted but since I am not currently planning a trip I don't visit this board much now. DH said no Disney for 3 more years --- I'll never make it that long without a Disney fix. What happens when you don't get a Disney fix? I see a total meltdown in my future.

Anyhow, here's the situation -- back in January I mailed my voucher to receive $10 and never got the check. Later I mailed the card for the $25 gas card and the envelope got sent back refused. I figured I'd cancel. Well, I forgot all about it with our buying and selling a house and all. Today I was cleaning out some things and remembered, decided to call the 1-800 number only to get a recording to call a 1-900 number. My DS was jabbering so I only caught part of the recording but I do recall hearing that each call costs $9.99. What?!

Is there another number to call and what happened to Connections?

Having recently called Connections about 15 times
I had these 2 numbers handy:

1-877-503-4052 (this one is called "Member Services", try it first)

1-800-568-2386
