I have been reading some posts on Connections vouchers. Are these the same as the Q&C vouchers? If I was to order through Connections, what is the cost for each voucher? My trip is in early August. Would I have time to order and receive these?

Thanks!
Jodi

Check the thread at the top of the page for more info, but here is a general overview. This is not completely up to date, but will give you the idea:

This was the info on Mousesavers before it was pulled...here's verbatim what it used to say:

"Quick & Casual" Meal Vouchers
Each Quick & Casual voucher costs $11.25 and is valid for a full
counter service lunch or dinner at a participating restaurant
location at the WDW resort. With each voucher you can order your
choice of one of the following: one combo meal (entree, side dish
and beverage) and one dessert, OR one entree, one side dish (if not
included in the entree), one dessert and one non-alcoholic beverage
Tax and gratuity (if any) are included. Alcoholic beverages, frozen
drinks and souvenir drink mugs are not included. Current vouchers
being issued expire 5/31/03. You will almost always come out at
least even on the Quick & Casual vouchers. At many of the locations,
the vouchers can save an adult (or a kid with a big appetite) money
at many of the locations, especially those in the theme parks. Rule
of thumb: if you would be spending at least $10.75 for the meal
before tax, using a voucher will be a good deal, because tax (and
tip, if applicable) is included. Also, many of the combo meals are
big enough that two people could share one and just purchase an
additional drink (and possibly an additional side order).

Participating locations (subject to change) are listed below. Good
deals are marked * and really oustanding deals are marked **:

HTH!

Regarding ordering for August, yes, you'd have time. There are other threads on this forum w/ info regarding Connections via Lillian Vernon, so check them out for the phone number to call.

Thank you for these lists. Can anyone tell me what the asterisks denote on the lists? I'm sure they mean exceptions to something.

In one word: YES. I have been to the Tangerine (Marrocan- EPCOT, Beaches & Cream, Pepper Market. All very good deal and tasty. Good luck

The astericks meant an ok deal, you would have to order the most expensive things, and not really come out ahead (one asterick) and two askericks were super great deals...

So what did you order at Tangeireien? Did you like it? What was it like?

We both had lamb, as I was never fond of it since I don't know how to cook it and get rid of the specific smell/taste. I figured that I must try it. It was the most tender and delicious lamb. It came with side dish (actualy 2 of them), but they let us order another one and we had marinated olives.

Sounds really good!
