Hi all! Just returned Sun. from our trip. We used the Connections vouchers in 2 places with good results.
#1 Used 2 Q&C vouchers at Beaches & Cream. Here's what we ordered. Prime Rib Sub w/ onion rings, diet coke, banana split, double cheeseburger w/ fries, milkshake, kithchen sink. Also ordered an extra drink. Split the shake between 2 people. All of this food was split between 3 adults a 4 yr. old and 11 mo. old (she didn't eat much
). We had NO problems with the vouchers. We paid like $2.50 or so out of pocket for the extra drink. Total was a little over $63 before tip. Server was great. She didn't even charge for the Sprite my DS wanted after he was done with his part of the shake. It was fun when they brought out the kitchen sink. They dimmed the lights and announced they were serving it. We didn't come anywhere close to fininshing it, though. We only got it for the WOW factor for my son, so we wouldn't do it again until DD is old enough to be WOWed and remember it. It IS huge and messy. They did say that it's free if one person can finish in it in a hour, though.
#2 Used Kingdom Lunch Voucher at Rainforest Cafe AK. We only used one voucher and ordered the following:
Surf & Turf (entree) Caribe Chicken fingers (app.) They wouldn't let us get the Awesome Appetizer with the voucher
Diet Coke, Chocolate Diablo Cake, Kids burger meal, kids drink and an extra diet coke. The total we paid after the voucher was $10.53. They added the gratuity to the extra amount automatically, which I was not happy about, but overall it was a good experience. Was disappointed with not letting us get the appetizer we wanted and with adding the gratuity to the extra stuff.
Great success with Beach & Cream, Good success with RF Cafe. If you have any questions, just LMK, I'll be glad to answer what I can.
