I just talked with Tiffany at Connections who talked with her supervisor for quite awhile who said they were not in her computer and that it might be June before they are. She said that June is when the changes in their offerings occur...for what it is worth.

Also is there anywhere that you can apply online for connections but pay monthly, or is the only monthly way through lillian vernon by calling?

Lillian Vernon is the only place I know of for monthly and you have to call. I joined for my one month free trail, ordered vouchers and then called and cancelled. I'll join again for my November trip. Their hopper prices are the best I've seen too.

I just looked at the Lillian Vernon website you listed sometime ago. It's a catolog company with home and bath supplies. I did a search on this website under Disney and nothing came up. I also tried other permutations and commutations and nothing was found. Where can I find out about ordering tickets from Connections using this company? I think that's what you were saying. Was I misreading or misintinperting( sp??) what you said.
Please let me know.

It has a list of the various meal certificates that groups can buy. I believe they are the same ones connections carry, they just cost a little more.

Breakfast Certificate
$20.75/$12.25
Valid at a variety of table service locations, including character breakfast.

Quick and Casual breakfast certificate
$10.75
Valid at a variety of resort food court locations

Quick and Casual Lunch or dinner certificate
$13.00
Valid at a variety of counter service locations

Vacation kingdom dinner certificate
$62.00/$30.00
Valid at a wide variety of table service locations including our premium restaurants.

I would be willing to bet that disney junkie is correct - these are the same vouchers that Connections sells - they just cost slightly less at Connections than at Disney. Here's a link to the original thread if anyone wants to check it out:

Hey Icy-Dog,

It seems like you have to call Lillian Vernon. The person new exactly what I was talking about and got me signed right up. I believe she gave me my order number and I was able to call Connections to get my membership number so that I could log onto the Connection's web site. It took about a week and 1/2 to get the info in the mail.

Some one posted the Lillian Vernon # earlier in this thread.

Okay, let me get this straight. I call Lillian Vernon, get Connections ID number then call Connections and get signed up. The reason I call Lillian Vernon instead of calling Connections in the first place is..... ?? Please fill in the blank for me.The only reason I can think of is if I were to keep the service maybe I could pay monthly. Is that right?

Aparently the first month is free this way rather than 1$. So that could be good also. Id much rather pay by month so i can keep it for 3 months to cover all the birthday i have comming up!

If you sign up thru Lillian Vernon, you get a free 30-day trail membership to Connections and a monthly membership. It cost $8.50 per month thru Lillian Vernon. You can cancel at any time. I joined, ordered vouchers, and then cancelled. I'll join again for my November trip. With most places it is a yearly membership. Once you sign up at Lillian Vernon, you can call Connections and start using the benefits. Connections is an up-sell at Lillian Vernon and the associates get a bonus with each Connectins they sell. They are happy to help you with Connections. You have to call - you cannot do this thru the website.

It also appears the Connections meal vouchers are cheaper than the ones listed above that you get directly from Disney. Also, the hopper prices are the best I've seen.

That explains everything to me.. Too bad you can't order Connections tickets and vouchers from Lillian because dealing with Connections is a nightmare!!

I know what you mean about the people at Connections. Half of them don't speak English and they are not familiar with what they are offering. I asked about the expiration date on the meal vouchers and each person I asked had a different answer.

I find that they have no clue about anything they sell including Disney vouchers or tickets. Do they had a website I could access after I sign up with Lillian.? I get crazy when I have to deal with them. Either they don't speak english( this is most of the time) or they put you on hold for 10 minutes and come back without an answer.

I got my membership materials in the mail a few days ago and saw that they listed the vacation kingdom dinner vouchers that everyone is talking about. I called, and sure enough, they don't know anything about them. The person I spoke to even said that it must be an error especially since they no longer mention the quick and casual vouchers. I told her that the restaurants were different so it couldn't be a mistake. She put me on hold for about 10 minutes and came back and told me that she spoke to supervisors of several different programs there (??) and no one knew about the dinner vouchers.
