Connections - How Long til vouchers arrive?

If I were to join Connections tommorow, will I be able to immediately purchase vouchers?

If so, how long until vouchers arrive?

Can I cancel before the vouchers arrive?

If not, will I have enough time after they arrive to still cancel within my trial month?

(My plan is join, purchase, cancel all within three weeks - will it work?)

When I was a member, I would order on Sunday night and get them on Weds. I joined on a Sunday and ordered online.
 
I have ordered 8 times from Connections and have always rec'd the vouchers within 2 or 3 days.
 
I ordered mine on the 15th of March and haven't seen anything. I cancelled my membership so can't check the status. Emailed them and they haven't responded either. I need 1 adult and 1 child breakfast for a character breakfast. I will e-mail them again.

If you cancelled before they shipped, I wonder if you'll ever see them. Has your cc been charged?
 
nope never got them they screwed up. I re joined and ordered 1. on Friday the 28th. They told me when I just called that they were printed and I should have them by Friday. They come UPS and you have to sign for them and if I am not home they will come back. I said that I might order more (1 more adult breakfast and 1 child, to share with the other child). I will let you know when and if they come.

Once you join you can purchase right away. Anything ordered from them if $50 or over is sent via UPS 2nd day air (I dont have to sign for mine driver leaves under my welcome mat). If you order under $50 then they send regular mail.
 
I placed an order for 15 Q&C late Friday night (I think??) I know it was the end of last week, but my credit card was charged on Monday (3/31) (and I know I placed the order before that, so they must charge when they ship.) I received them yesterday, sent UPS 2nd day air, all was well. :) I didn't have to sign for them (though it does clearly say "signature required" on the envelope, so maybe I signed one of the signature cards with UPS a while ago, we get a lot of stuff UPS. :D) I received my park hopper passes from Paramount Travel as well (same, 2nd day UPS air). It's finally starting to feel like we're really going. :jester:
 
The same day I joined, I ordered my vouchers, that was on a Wednesday. Friday night there was FED EX at my door. WOW! I have had no problems. I kinda got spooked by all of the negative stuff I have read. So I canceled my membership. I am really considering rejoining. It seems there are some good deals to be had on there. Hopes this helps!
 
I ordered my vouchers last Friday and I received them yesterday (thursday). I did order 30 of them so that is what may have taken extra time. I have been a member since last year and have not had a single problem with Connections. Yes, they're Customer Reps aren't top notch, but i have always been charged correctly for all my orders and they always arrive on time so I have had very little contact with CSR's. I have exhausted my limit in the last year on BB gift cards, Target Giftcards (on simple escapes only) and now Q&C's. I saved the $80 fee last year when we went to WDW and much more. The movie tickets are also great and we have used plenty of those also.
 
only ordered 1 breakfast ticket on the 28th still haven't received it as of today 4/4

If you order less than $50 they mail it through the regular mail USPS so that might be the delay. Its only if you order more than $50 that they ship it UPS 2nd day air.

I belong to Connections and have only used it for restaurant cards and movie passes. I have never had a problem. I am concerned about all these vague references to problems. Could someone please give more details on this issue? Thank you.
 
I have read about problems before- but I can't remember what all the problems were. I do think one of the things was duplicate charges for membership fees and/or still charging even though you cancelled.
I joined awhile back, wasn't able to purchase the vouchers to get in time for my trip so I didn't order any, tried to cancel my membership since I wasn't sure I'd ever use them AND THEY DID NOT CANCEL THE MEMBERSHIP. For some reason it wasn't cancelled and I was charged the $85 membership fee PLUS I did NOT get the free movie tickets I was supposed to get since I joined them through a link shown on mousesavers where connections said I'd get 4 free movie tickets. They never materialized.
Since I paid for a membership- I hope to actually get something for my $85 but I doubt I'll buy enough vouchers to make up enough savings for that. :(

So there's MY problems with them- didn't do the cancel, charged me anyway and I've never even used the membership so far, and did not get the free tickets promised when I signed up either. :(
 
I have to say that my membership is under-utilized. We usually just use the movie tickets which are ordered at a discount. But did you know that you can order gift cards from places and you receive 20% on their purchase, and also for Blockbuster and restaurant certificates? I've done that when I remembered enough in advance.

If you are going to Disney this year or early next year, you could take advantage of the meal plans being mentioned on this board. I checked around and some of the restaurant locations for the Quick and Casual seem to be quite a savings if you plan it for your major meal.

I was actually going to cancel my membership last month and forgot to do it so I am automatically renewed again. It turns out to be a good thing because of the vouchers, but I am vowing to remember to use the other features as well.
 
I joined Connections for the 30 day trial, ordered my vouchers, then attempted to cancel around 2 weeks before the trial was over. The CSR asked if I had mailed in my free dinner and movie tickets request, which I hadn't, and she told me I should go ahead and mail it in before I cancel. I did, and foolishly waited until the last day of the trial before I called again to cancel. I got charged $79.95 anyway, but after I called them they did refund it to me the very next day. I still haven't received the free dinner and movie tickets, and I'm not sure if I ever will. But at least I got my refund of the membership cost. :rolleyes:
 
I actually don't see that as much of a problem myself. They did make a mistake but corrected it immediately. And the customer sure did get something for nothing! (I'm not saying that you shouldn't as long as they allow it, just that you were able to avail yourself of the services without paying.)
 
Actually, I wasn't referring to my experience with Connections as a bad one or problem (sorry if it seemed that way), but rather that I've had a decent experience with them. I didn't join them for the free dinner and movie offer, but for the vouchers. So I got exactly what I needed. If the free offer were ever to arrive, it would just be a bonus. They were always very helpful and efficient when I dealt with them, and I would consider signing up with them again.
