Connecting two reservations...

My sister and I are meeting family at Disney this June. Our flights get in at the same time, we are sharing a towncar to Disney, checking in at the same time and are all staying at CBR. We would like connecting/adjoining rooms, but we have two seperate reservations. How could we go about getting this?

We are meeting my in-laws next month and we specifically requested the same building, same floor, not adjoining rooms. They told us this should not be a problem but told us that they could not guarantee this. You should call ahead of time and put in the request; prior to leaving, you should call to check and then upon check-in, you should make another request if it hasn't already been fulfilled. We are also meeting family, I currently have 1 room booked with my AAA rate. Once AP rates are released, I was going to apply the new discount and then book the additional room for my sister-in-law. Do you think this will be a problem? Should I change my ressie now for two rooms?

Just have each party call and ask to link the reservations to each other. Have done this a few times and always worked out well.

Just tell them to link your reservation to the other one, and it may be handy to have thier reservation number, but probably not necessary.

Just so you know what you're asking for:

Connecting rooms have a door that goes between the two rooms.

Adjoining rooms are side-by-side but do NOT have a door that goes between them.

We just did this recently. DM will be down there the same time as DH and I in May. The CM put what she called a "travel with" on both ressies, so that the resort would know to keep both rooms together. We'll see if it works!
